Nitrate/Nitrite Test Strips are used to verify the Nitrate/Nitrite performance of your water. Under certain use conditions, the efficiency of Nitrate/Nitrate removal rate can drop.

• Use strips to verify the performance of the Reverse Osmosis filter’s ability to remove Nitrates/Nitrites
• Use strips to test your filtered water each time you replace your RO filter
• If the Nitrate/Nitrite exceeds the safe level, replace the RO filter to restore the performance

Note that only Nitrate/Nitrite is affected by these use conditions; all other contamination tested under NSF 58 will maintain its efficiency even if Nitrate/Nitrite does not.
