We’re adding a new member to the AquaTru purifier family! The AquaTru Carafe is our latest countertop model. It boasts a smaller footprint and a beautifully designed glass carafe for easy storing and pouring. Here are just a few reasons why we’re excited to share the Carafe with you.
Gorgeous Glass
You asked and we listened. The AquaTru Carafe is made from durable and thoughtfully designed borosilicate glass. For those who aren’t familiar with the material, borosilicate glass is extremely easy to clean and maintain—especially because it’s resistant to thermal shock and shattering!
Extra glass carafes will soon be available for purchase if you’d like to double your capacity. One can even be stored in the fridge so that you always have chilled water on hand.
Compact and Ready to Go
Designed to suit singles, couples, and individuals with smaller spaces, the AquaTru Carafe offers a clean water capacity of 2.5 quarts in the tap tank and 64 ounces or 0.5 gallons of purified water that is captured in the glass carafe.
Limited countertop real estate? No worries! Not only does the Carafe have a smaller tank for tap and carafe for clean water, but the entire system is smaller, too. It easily slides into small spaces and is portable for easy moving.
Like the other AquaTru countertop purifiers, the Carafe doesn’t require plumbing or installation. Simply plug it in and start purifying.

The AquaTru Carafe is equipped with the same patented, 4-stage Ultra Reverse Osmosis® purification as our other countertop systems.
- Stage 1: Mechanical Pre-Filter: Removes cloudiness (turbidity) and sediment
- Stage 2: Activated Carbon Pre-Filter: Removes chloramines and chlorine
- Stage 3: High-Efficient Reverse Osmosis Filter: Removes lead, chromium 6, and other toxic inorganic contaminants
- Stage 4: Activated Coconut Shell Carbon VOC Filter: Removes toxic organic chemicals like PFAS and ensures the best tasting water

The Carafe has been independently tested to remove common tap water contaminants like nitrates, nitrites, fluoride, forever chemicals (PFAS and PFOS), arsenic, and perchlorate.
New Features
Unlike the other AquaTru systems, the Carafe is has been designed with a maintenance alert and the option to manually reset your filters. Not only will the filter indicator lights take the guesswork out of filter replacements, but these new features make all forms of maintenance a little easier.
- Maintenance Alert: If your flow rate and filtering time slow to a level that requires descaling maintenance, your Carafe will let you know. Thanks to the AquaTru Descaling Kit, the process is simple. You’ll be back to sipping pure, delicious water in no time.
- Manually Reset Filters: If you ever need to change your filter ahead of schedule (i.e. before the filter light comes on), you can reset the filter so that the Carafe tracks it accurately.
Simple and Sustainable to Use
Like all of the other AquaTru systems, your new Carafe will save you money and our planet. Equipped with long-lasting filters, just a single set will replace thousands of plastic water bottles.
Not only that, but its operation is a lot more efficient, too.
Unlike standard under-the-sink reverse osmosis (RO) systems, AquaTru doesn’t produce as much waste water. When a RO system uses pressure to filter out contaminants, they get trapped and left behind as waste water—up to 4 gallons for every gallon of pure water produced!
Compared to a usual system, AquaTru is 4x more efficient. The minimal amount of waste water that’s produced can be used to water your lawn, too!
